Electronic communication
Electronic communication means data exchange between different software systems. TWIST INSPIRE ERP is an open information system – even the basic version features a number customizable interfaces. Interfaces allow for creating a desired data link with other software programs. Their use saves times and reduces the error rate. Examples of electronic communication include e-banking, e-filing of Intrastat reports or VAT returns.
Homebanking
The TWIST INSPIRE ERPInformation System offers the option of exporting payment orders into and importing bank statements from most homebanking systems used in the Czech Republic (GEMINI, MULITICASH, OFFICELINE, KBBEST, MBEST, INTERNETBANKING, EPS, PROFIBANK, etc.). When importing bank statements, incoming and outgoing payments are automatically matched and all the other account activity is recorded.
VAT returns
VAT returns can be submitted using the Electronic Filing Room application administered by the tax authority and accessible via the website of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. A great advantage of submitting VAT returns via the Electronic Filing Room is that the data submitted are checked automatically. Apart from saving your time, you would know whether your submission is correct.
INTRASTAT
If an INTRASTAT report is created in the TWIST INSPIRE ERP software, it can be sent to the IDES program which transmits it via the Internet directly to the Customs Office’s server. As is the case with VAT returns, you not only save your time but the correctness of the data you submit is checked right away.
EDI, XML2EDI
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a system for business document sharing within a private VAN network. An access to the network is facilitated by the GENTRAN program. The system is particularly popular with large distribution networks or supermarket chains and their business partners. It manages a system of order of goods, delivery notes and invoicing.
XML2EDI is a version of EDI that is accessible on the Internet and is a perfect communication option for a wide range of small and medium-sized enterprises.

B2B
Business-to-Business communication means that electronic data are exchanged between two or more closely cooperation organizations. In the process of TWIST INSPIRE’s implementation, the B2B system is customized according to the client’s requirements. It is meant for a pre-selected group of the client’s business partners. For example, it can be used for receiving orders from key partners, sending of delivery notes to the carrier who looks after deliveries, distribution of outgoing invoices, etc.
E-shop
The features of data transfer between the TWIST INSPIRE ERP software and e-shop is subject to the client’s specific demands. Thanks to sophisticatedly designed data structures of TWIST INSPIRE, it is possible to interchange data between the Information System and e-shop on the Internet and back. For example, a list of new products, stock availability, up-to-date selling prices can be exported, and incoming orders or a list of new partners can be imported.
